Pyrates! Be a sea faring band of Musical Marauders, sailing from th’ shores of the Olde Lowlands of Holland to rowdy ports across the world! A notorious band of buccaneers, who’ve imposed their own brand of pirate themed folk music to fellow pirates an’ unfortunate landlubbers not only in the United Kingdom but across tha’ seas themselves! Able bodied bawdy balladeers armed wi’ Guitar, Melodeon, Bass, Drums an’ Fiddle. Dressed in full pirate costume an’ all in tha’ quay of ARRRR!

Pyrates! have requisitioned countless well known folk tunes from sailors of ages past including songs of the sea, Bawdy Ballads, Jaunty Jigs, Irish Ditties, Sea Shanties, Drinking Songs and arr’cappella folk tunes that’ll be sure ta have yez tappin’ yer foot and singing along in no time!

Pyrates! have performed to tens of thousands o’ scurvy dogs at numerous festivals over the years, making a name for themselves in the festival scene across the Netherlands, United Kingdom and Germany. They’ve performed well over three hundred shows in 5 different countries across the globe!

Pyrolysis [paai-rol-lis-sis] is een folk-punk band uit het centrum van het Bourgondische platteland, Zaltbommel. De leden zijn Laurens (toetsenist, backing vocalist, parttime basgitarist en motivatiemanager), Tim (bassist, parttime drummer, backing vocalist en dromer), Sven (lead-gitarist, slaggitarist en chemicus), Stan (lead-zanger, drummer, mondharmonicaspeler en whiskydrinker) en Rikke (viool-speelster, backing vocaliste en blote-voeten-loopster). Met een sterke drang om het leven niet te over-compliceren begonnen ze begin 2010 pure vrolijkheid en waanzin om te zetten in muziek. Na honderden kroegjes, festivalletjes en zaaltjes op z’n kop te zetten, kwam in 2015 het debuut album uit, On Mountains High I Stand.  Deze inspirerende en krachtige plaat neemt je bij de hand en sleurt je mee naar daar waar al je zorgen even vergeten kunnen worden. Met opzwepende drums, dansbare en vrolijke melodieën, krachtige gitaar en heldere zang hoopt Pyrolysis dat zijn positieve boodschap niet snel vergeten wordt…
