Biografie Pendejo

“Taste it and you won’t be sorry.” (Metal Hammer)

¡PENDEJO! is a four-piece heavy rock band from the Netherlands, founded by two cousins with a history in Latin America. Digging into their latino roots they started blending heavy riffage, pounding drums, right-in-your-face lyrics in urban Spanish about the weirdest stories in life, and to top it all off, a screaming trumpet.

Check the irony that one of the best Latin American bands I’ve heard isn’t Latin American.” (Vagabundo Espiritual)

Leaving their skid marks in the underground scene throughout Europe and Latin America – and sharing stages with influential heavyweights like Fu Manchu and Karma to Burn – the band puts on a show for anyone who is not afraid to be grabbed by the cojones and to be thrown into a spicy puddle of chile con carne.

You really won’t believe your ears.” (Stan Novak – Aardschok)

In 2010 ¡PENDEJO! released it’s debut album ‘CANTOS A LA VIDA’ which got great reviews, especially from the Spanish press. Their music has been described as heavy, addictive, rough and grooving, or as a Spanish critic so eloquently put it: “Heavy rock in Spanish with balls the size of Danny de Vito”.

Smoke, alcohol, humor, sex and ah!, Rock n Roll!” (Max Metal)

¡PENDEJO! recorded it’s second album ‘ATACAMES’ (2014) with producer Pieter Kloos in The Void Studio in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. This resulted in a daring album containing 10 songs ranging from heavy to lighthearted, and from melodramatic to outright aggressive.

Gewinnt jeden Schwanzvergleich.” (Harald Deschler – Legacy)

Between 2010 and 2017 the band did several tours in Europe and Latin America. Their new album, recorded in August 2017 by Pieter Kloos, is expected to be released sometime in the fall of 2018. ¡Preparáte!

“¡Pendejo! les chingará la madre.” (Renacer Electrico)

Biografie Saguaro

Saguaro are an alternative rock band formed in early 2015, based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The band experienced lots of changes during 2 years of intensive search for the right guitar player.

Founding members Sanel Kadic (bass guitar, vocals) and Aldo Sanso (drums) remained together for the entire history of the band, while

Rogier Worm (guitar) followed as guitarist in December 2016, and rounded up the core line-up. After playing whole 2016 as two-piece Saguaro released their first EP ‘Kitchen Sessions’ in October 2016. In 2017, the band finally became a power trio with an interesting mix of musical experience and nationalities (Bosnian, Italian and Dutch), that gave the band a unique sound. Saguaro explores a modern variant of the 90’s stoner rock-inspired sound. The music is heavily influenced by noise and stoner rock, as well as the traditional 70’s rock sound. It’s this great mix of many musical styles and influences that made the band create its own new sound. Saguaro’s music exists in a way that very little music does. It has lavished such care on every phrase, built each arrangement with such lapidary expression and pared away anything extraneous, the music becomes a sculpture. It has weight, density, gravity.

Musical experience:

In their early careers, when they didn’t know each other yet, the band members played in many different bands from the music scene in the Netherlands; (Sanel: Land of Airplanes, SolarCruiser, Medicine Men,Tales That Are Not Supposed To Be Heard By People), (Rogier: Fill Bloom) and (Aldo: Hoover).

Biografie Norea

Norea is a four-piece band from the Netherlands. Formed in the summer of 2014 by two old friends who wanted to play some loud noisy music again. Inspired by some good ol’ nostalgic grunge, groovin’ desert stonerrock and a tiny bit of metal (think about Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Kyuss, Red Fang and Elder) we created our own sound which is always evolving during the process of being.
